Norman Korswold – INDUCTED November 2011

norm-RIPNorman Korswold was one of my original players when we started playing the Game Show at the Applebee’s on Cortez in Bradenton back in November 2010.

He may not have won as much as many other teams, however his contributions to Game Show Trivolution especially in our infancy were outstanding. He may as well have been the recruiter for the Game Show when it was played at his favorite Applebee’s. His knowledge was also outstanding as he could weave through many of the tougher categories with ease. As much as he loved trivia, he was much more than a regular trivia player.

He was a retired Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and when he retired, he loved to travel and take cruises.

On November 17, 2011, Norm was inducted into the Game Show Trivolution Hall of Fame. He had played over 40 games at the time, won three times, finished third in our Summer Tournament, was 4th in all-time perfect rounds, and on his induction night, he won for the 4th and final time.

On January 22, 2012, Norm passed away at the age of 78. He is missed greatly by those who enjoyed his company every Thursday night during our Game Shows including the founder of Game Show Trivolution, Jim Casey.
